Spaces are central to how intangible heritage is lived and shared.
At Boukra, they are shaped by care, human scale, and a strong sense of continuity, allowing practices, knowledge, and relationships to unfold over time.
BEIT JEDDE.
Beit Jeddé, located in the village of Mtein, is Boukra’s flagship space.
Housed in a family home passed down through generations, it brings together hospitality, culture, taste, and transmission through curated stays, workshops, and shared moments.​

At Beit Jeddé you will find:
  • A traditional guesthouse
  • A cultural space and community hub
  • A café and seasonal food
  • A mouneh & crafts boutique
Beit Jeddé opens from March to the beginning of January.

During these months, our boutique is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm except on Mondays.
From January to March, you can still find a selection of our products at Dikken el Mazraa, at Ecosouk in Hamra, at Beit Toureef in Gemmayze and at the Badaro Urban Farmers Market.

Boukra’s approach to space begins with an attention to place — its specificity, resources, and inherited practices.
In collaboration with RestartMed, Boukra contributed to the development of a “Sustainable Mtein” initiative — an interactive map highlighting the village’s cultural and natural heritage.
This work reflects Boukra’s understanding of sustainability as a condition for continuity, grounded in knowledge, context, and care.
